Minimalism: "Waterfall" and "Greenseas"
These are two 18" x 36" acrylics on canvas. The first is "Waterfall."
This is "Greenseas." Your comments about both are appreciated, pro or con.
I've updated this to include the new version of Waterfall, which includes the additional element of the sun. I think it was needed to ground the waterfall and water in reality. Without the concept of a sky, there was no way to put the waterfall in context. Now, both paintings have four elements. I suppose I could have strip each down to three elements by eliminating the foreground, but I don't plan on doing so. I think I'll do one additional version of waterfall, changing one area of color.

I've said it already... Greenseas is simply beautiful. Fantastic colour tension and perfect composition... Super, super, super.
